5 years after its debut in Early Access on Steam and Epic Games Store, Satisfactory is about to arrive in 1.0. While the game celebrated two weeks ago the 5 million copies sold, Coffee Stain Studios wants to end early access in 2024. An announcement which is accompanied by some explanations, and a good dose of humor. Unfortunately, no more precise date at the moment.
After the fake roadmap is presented, Coffee Stain Studios explains that future updates are paused. To ensure the exit of Satisfactory in version 1.0 for 2024, all staff have been mobilized for this objective. As a result, only this release is present in their calendar. This does not mean that no content will be added subsequently, on the contrary. The studio intends to continue to follow its game for as long as possible, whether with free updates or the arrival of DLCs.
Likewise, when Satisfactory will have ended its early access, this will be accompanied by new content. We should find new machines and resources, but above all an end game and a narrative framework. With all this, players will be able to resume the adventure by discovering a whole new aspect. And for those who can’t wait, a closed beta will take place. This will allow you to discover all the content in advance, and provide feedback to the developers
