Saudi Arabia-Two dead in Houthi attack on Jizan

CAIRO, December 24 (Reuters) – Two people were killed in an attack by Shiite Houthi rebels on the southern Saudi Arabian town of Jizan, state television Al Ekhbariya reported on Friday.

The Saudi-led coalition intervening militarily in Ymen said the Houthis fired a projectile at Jizan.

The coalition said it had hit the “attack launch site” and added that it was preparing a larger offensive against Houthi military targets.

Another projectile fired by the Shiite rebels hit the town of Najran, causing only material damage.
