Savant – Ascent REMIX is coming to PC on September 15th

Jo-Remi Madsen of D-Pad Studio explains in an official press release: “We got a little carried away with Scholar – Ascent REMIX. Our initial goal was to release a small remaster to celebrate the release of our first title ten years ago. However, Scholar – Ascent REMIX has morphed into something much bigger than that – it’s essentially a whole new game in the Savant universe“. As a reminder, Savant is none other than the pseudonym of composer Aleksander Vinter, author of the very synthwave soundtrack under speed from the eponymous game.

For this sequel, the pitch should not change one iota, since we will always embody the mysterious character called “the Alchemist”, thrown to the bottom of his tower, and who will have to fight body and soul to regain his position of dominance. . To do this, D-Pad Studio relies on your reflexes and unfailing perseverance. It will be a question of shooting everything that moves on the screen, while jumping between several moving platforms. Following requires, we will have brand new powers, new levels have been created, and a slew of new enemies will come to try to separate our flesh from our bones. And that’s not very nice. Obviously, Savant composed unreleased pieces for the occasion.

The studio is giving us until September 15 on PC via Steam, GOG or the Epic Games Store to warm up our thumbs and avoid the unfortunate sprain.
