Save in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga gets the best start to the LEGO franchise, and when we play it, we understand why. The developers have made a multitude of improvements, to provide us with a quality experience, making us want to immerse ourselves in this opus, and to invest in it. However, many players wonder about saving the game, which is not obvious to everyone. That’s why we tell you everything there is to know about it.

How does saving work in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

As you will most likely see when launching the game for the first time, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has an auto-save feature. That is to say, at certain points in the game, your progress will be saved automatically, allowing you to quit the game, if you wish.

Unfortunately, and there’s no point looking in the menu, there is no way to save manuallyif you have to stop playing quickly, which is admittedly a bit restrictive.

Thereby, to save the game, you will have to rely on autosave points. These are manifested by the appearance of a lightsaber at the bottom right of your screen. They intervene at various times during your adventures:

  • At the end of a mission (main, secondary).
  • After collecting a collectible, such as Kyber Bricks.
  • After traveling to another place, whether on the same planet in the name.

In other words, in open-world moments, you shouldn’t have too much trouble saving. However, during story missions, you will not have the option of having your progress saved without having completed it. You have to reach the conclusion of this one, very often through a cutscene, to see the famous lightsaber appear, at the bottom right of the screen. Note, however, that all collectibles collected along the way will be saved no matter what.
