According to security sources, the Ukrainian secret service SBU carried out a drone attack on a Russian oil facility in southern Russia. The SBU hit an oil refinery in the city of Tuapse in the southern Russian region of Krasnodar, Ukrainian security circles said.
The important oil processing plant on the Black Sea was damaged. Local Russian authorities had previously reported a fire at an oil facility in Tuapse, without providing any information about the causes of the fire.
Just about a week ago, an oil depot in the Bryansk region on the border with Ukraine was set on fire by a Ukrainian drone attack.
