James Blunt is also serious about the Spotify and Joe Rogan scandal: Unlike Neil Young, however, he is threatening new music.

Some have carried out their threat and removed their music from the streaming service because of the controversial Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan (54). Singer James Blunt (47) now chose a slightly different and probably not very serious way to increase the pressure on the Spotify operator. He published the joke threat on Twitter: “If Spotify doesn’t remove Joe Rogan immediately, I will upload new music to the platform.”

The background: The musicians Neil Young (76) and Joni Mitchell (78) accuse Rogan of spreading dangerous false reports about the corona vaccination via his podcast. Both had their music removed from Spotify as a protest. Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40), who themselves have a lucrative podcast deal with the streaming provider, reportedly expressed their concerns about fake news circulating on the platform.
