Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans are reunited. The Avengers stars are shooting a new movie together.
The “Avengers” stars Scarlett Johansson (37) and Chris Evans (40) are back together in front of the camera. The ‘Black Widow’ actress and the ‘Captain America’ mime have according to “Deadline” signed for the Apple film “Project Artemis”. Johansson is also producing the film.
Details about the story of “Project Artemis” are not yet available. According to “Deadline”, the film will take place in the 1950s and 60s, when the US and the Soviet Union were competing for space dominance.
Jason Bateman (53, “Ozark”), best known as an actor, directs the film. Apple is said to have paid a good 100 million dollars for the rights.
Cooperation for “Ghosted” burst
Project Artemis is Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans’ first collaboration since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. The two actors have been friends since their first film together, the 2004 comedy Voll gepunktt. Half a year ago, the duo announced a joint film.
They should also shoot the adventure film “Ghosted” together for Apple. But due to scheduling difficulties, Johansson had to drop out. Ana de Armas (33) jumped in at Chris Evans side.
