Schalke wins without Grammozis
Werner’s Werder record remains flawless
Werder coped with the early shock quickly, in the Regensburg snow flurry, the team of new coach Ole Werner turned the early deficit and continued his chase. Meanwhile, severely weakened Schalke players without coach Dimitrios Grammozis dismantle the club from Nuremberg.

After the break, Nürnberger equalized when the Schalke defense was not yet fully concentrated. Suddenly the superiority of the hosts was temporarily passe, only an own goal brought the 2-1.
