Angelo Kelly receives an acquittal in his child labor lawsuit
This judgment takes a heavy burden off Angelo Kelly, 39, shoulders. The singer had to answer for a performance with his children in court – and has now received a verdict that is acceptable to him. In the summer of 2019, the offspring of the famous Kelly Family had applied for a permit for a live act of his children, which had been granted by the authorities, but had apparently been delivered too late.
Since he went on stage and performed with his then three-year-old son William, among others, he was charged with violating the Youth Protection Act and initially fined 3,000 euros in February. A judgment that the musician did not want to recognize and therefore lodged a legal complaint. Now the relieving message on his Instagram channel: “Dear ones, a suspicion of inadmissible child labor in relation to our youngest son William resulted in an acquittal and a suspension of proceedings.”
