Anna-Maria Zimmermann reports from the hospital
“I’m back in the game … ok, not really yet, but that’ll be fine,” writes pop singer Anna-Maria Zimmermann, 33, about a worrying photo in a hospital shirt. She had to have an operation, as revealed by the mother of two small children in another Instagram story.
Luckily, Anna-Maria was able to leave the hospital pretty quickly, because she goes on to explain: “I’m back home now. Because so many asked: I had an umbilical hernia operation. Actually nothing wild [sic].” Unfortunately, the former DSDS candidate “didn’t tolerate the anesthetic so well for the first time”. The tearful smiley smile at the end of the text at least suggests that the hit star should be better by now. We wish you a speedy recovery.

Oops! Giovanni Zarella exposed Howard Carpendale on his TV show
Giovanni Zarrella, 43, and Howard Carpendale, 76, are the new musical dream duo in the hit sky. Of course, they performed their joint hit “Call me an” – a cover version of Ronan Keating’s hit song “Life is a Rollercoaster” – in Giovanni Zarrelle’s big evening show on February 12, 2022. After that, the artists still had a little time for a chat, but with it the host got himself into a bit of trouble.
He introduced his aspiring dialogue with Howard Carpendale somewhat unhappily. “You’re a bit older than me and your age… that at your age people are still trying to correct… I think it’s really remarkable that you’re still watching your performances and still thinking, ‘What can I do somewhere else?'” the interpreter on “Howie’s” age and afterwards wanted to know what there was to correct at all.
But the full professional as ever, the 76-year-old didn’t let the allusion to his age upset him and answered with a laugh: “First of all, I have to prepare myself for my next life!” In addition, a three-hour show is not just a series of songs. “I’m a bit old school when it comes to things like that,” Carpendale revealed, emphasizing that he shouldn’t be expected to do acrobatics. He smiled: “But talking to people, giving them goosebumps and sometimes tears – that’s all part of a long concert, and I really try to think through every second.”
