Andrea Berg reveals details about “Heimatspiel” concerts
Andrea Berg, 55, has good news for her fans. After their popular “Heimspiel” concerts had to be canceled in 2020 due to the corona pandemic, the series will be resumed in their home town of Aspach this year. And that’s not all: You will be able to experience the pop singer closer than ever before. The kick-off will take place on July 9, 2021. Then the Schlager Queen performs instead of the usual in front of 30,000 spectators in a more intimate setting with up to 2,000 people. “I’m all alone, we only play for a little over an hour, we play in the light, we have to be quiet at ten o’clock,” said the Krefeld native in an interview with “SWR4”. Nevertheless, the singer is looking forward to her “Heimatspiele”, which will take place on four evenings this year: “I think we should be grateful and really celebrate life at full throttle.”
Andrea Berg is known for her elaborate stage shows and costumes, but so that her “home game” concerts can take place in summer 2021, she has to adhere to the given restrictions. “By the way, I don’t have a stage either, I come with a trailer that is used to transport the bales of straw. Florian Silbereisen will present “Die Schlager des Sommers” for the first time in the first
In the past few years the program “Die Schlager des Sommers” was recorded at the moated castle Klaffenbach in Chemnitz. The MDR showed the repetition of last year on Saturday, July 3, 2021. A new edition is already in the starting blocks – but with an innovation. This year’s “Schlager des Sommers” will be broadcast for the first time on August 14, 2021 in “Das Erste” as a big Saturday evening show. Florian Silbereisen, 39, will lead the show, as the title of the show “Schlager des Sommers – presented by FLORIAN SILBEREISEN” already reveals in the ARD program announcement.
It is not yet known which guests the presenter will welcome and whether the broadcast will take place in front of an audience.
