Schneider Electric could present an offer of 31 pounds per share for Aveva


PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The electrical equipment manufacturer Schneider Electric could announce on Wednesday an offer for minority interests in its British subsidiary Aveva “around 31 pounds per share”, reports the Bloomberg agency, which quotes sources familiar with the matter. .

An offer of 31 pounds sterling per share would value the British software publisher at 9.4 billion pounds, or around 10.7 billion euros.

Schneider Electric had indicated at the end of August its interest in buying out the 41% of Aveva that it does not yet hold.

The discussions between the two companies are in the home stretch, with British stock market law forcing the French group to submit an offer before 5 p.m., or 6 p.m. Paris time, on Wednesday.
