Every year since 1996, SCOR has rewarded the best research work in the field of actuarial science by awarding prizes in several countries around the world.

These prizes are intended to promote the development of actuarial science, to encourage research in this field and to contribute to advancing the knowledge and management of risks. The SCOR Actuarial Awards are a guarantee of excellence in the insurance and reinsurance sector. In France, the SCOR Actuarial Prize is funded by the SCOR Corporate Foundation for Science chaired by André Lévy-Lang.

The juries of the SCOR Actuarial Awards are made up of world-renowned insurance, reinsurance and finance researchers and professionals. The winners are selected on the basis of their mastery of actuarial concepts, the quality of the analytical instruments they use and the originality of their work in terms of scientific progress and possible application to the professions of asset management. risks.

In 2022, SCOR awarded Actuarial Awards in five countries: Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Switzerland.
