Scott Pilgrim returns! The entire cast of the cult film “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” is returning for the Netflix series “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off”. A long trailer for the anime spectacle has now been released, in which you can hear, among others, Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers and Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells.
Scott Pilgrim must fight against Ramona Flowers’ seven evil ex-partners
The series, originally called “Scott Pilgrim Takes off,” retells Scott’s story. He falls in love with Ramona Flowers, but first has to defeat Ramona’s seven evil ex-partners before he can date her. An adventure begins that has a lot of video game elements.
Comic writer Bryan Lee O’Malley promises that there will be some new surprises in store for you in the series. O’Malley is co-creator of the new anime series alongside BenDavid Grabinski. “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” will be released on Netflix on November 17, 2023.
