While filming should begin in June according to Courteney Cox, the release of “Scream 6” is set for March 31, 2023 in the United States. And probably two days before in France, if the deadlines are the same as for the latest opus.
“I think they start filming in June in Canada”, Courteney Cox had announced at the same time as she confirmed her presence in the sixth installment of the Scream saga. And the latter now has a release date, since it is expected on March 31, 2023 in the United States.
The French date has not yet been communicated, but we can imagine that it will be a worldwide release, and that the feature film will be visible in our theaters two days earlier, on March 29. In any case, this is what happened at the start of the year for the film signed Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who are back behind the camera.
In addition to Courteney Cox, the only cast member to have confirmed her return so far, we can expect to meet the survivors of the previous opus (who may not be so lucky next time) as well than the inevitable Neve Campbell, whom Ghostface will no doubt still try to attack.
If the shots are to begin in June, the distribution should not be long in being revealed. As for the plot of this new bloody episode, we will have to wait a little longer, however.
