Sea of Thieves Season 11 redefined the way to play – Gamosaurus

Rare wants to expand the scope of its pirate game and is adopting some surprising strategies to do so. After adding the “Calm Seas” mode for players who do not want PvP, season 11 of Sea of Thieves sees fast travel and access to quests coming from his ship. A more than daring choice for a title which nevertheless focuses so much on travel. And this necessarily has repercussions on the way in which the objectives must be approached.

Obviously, as with each new season, a cosmetic theme is linked to it. This time, players will be able to wear the colors of traveling traders. Outfits and elements for the ship proudly displaying pastel green and blue colors. The Plunder Pass will honor these honorable merchants who sail at sea throughout the year. But other rewards await players in the 100 levels of fame to climb.

Sea of Thieves looking for a new audience

From the start of its announcement, Rare says, the goal is to simplify the lives of players. Free to those who wish to continue to benefit from Sea of Thieves as they always have, but season 11 is aimed at an audience who wants to get to the point. In fact, quests can now all be started from the ship’s table, without needing to go to the outposts. Reputation is also obtained at the end of the journey, without having to bring back the loot. However, the latter still grants some rewards to the outposts.

Since it is easier to gain reputation, the latter see their maximum level increase up to 100. New rewards can therefore be obtained, in addition to improving replayability. But beyond level 100, it will still be possible to earn new cosmetic items by progressing with these companies. So there’s no reason to stop once your reputation has reached the maximum.

At the same time, the way of traveling is also changing. The arrival of the fast travel system allows players to move through waters with one click. But it is also possible to sail as before. The quest table will, however, allow you to find the trips most suited to the current session, favoring the chosen company, the type of trip desired or even the duration of it.
