After closing the Arena mode, those who love PvP above all may not find what they are looking for. In an effort to make PvP a bit more interesting on Sea of Thievesand also encourage players who were not fond of these naval combats, Rare offers a new activity: join one of two factions, the Keepers of Fortune or the Servants of the Flame, to fight alongside them. To do this, just use the Hourglass of Destiny, available on your ship.
Once the choice is made, you will be able to fight and attack enemy ships, with the aim of sinking them. You will be able to see their location on a Tactics Map, in order not to attack players who have not asked for anything. If you manage to sink them, you’ll earn Allegiance Points and faction rewards. Even better, a special bonus is granted to crews who manage to capsize four ships without ever sinking once.
For more challenge, you can embark with treasures, which will increase the Allegiance points you will earn. By leaving this battle and returning to the Sea of Thieves, you can then sell everything, including your Hourglass, but be careful not to be attacked by another boat…
New Pirate Emporium Shop and Plunder Pass
Of course, like every new season of Sea of Thieves, a Plunder Pass is offered, with 100 levels and as many rewards to unlock over the weeks. For this season 8, the Ravenwood ship set and the Ravenwood evolutionary costume will be available.
In the shop, new skins are arriving, especially to personalize your character. Promotions are also taking place from November 24 to 29 to get your hands on plenty of customization items.
