After four first adventures rich in stories and multiple challenges, sometimes involving the community, Sea of Thieves players can, since June 30, discover the fifth, which is named The Forsaken Hunter. It will probably be necessary to try to help Merrick, who has reincarnated as a ghost.

Without surprise, this new Adventure takes place just after the end of the events that affected Golden Sands. Remember that the outpost was finally saved by the players, who chose to help Merrick in his mission. Moreover, the latter will be back, at least his ghost, as we can see in the trailer published by Rare, which teases what awaits players.
A mysterious character appears, wishing to obtain information held by Merrick, who will have a rather important role in this fifth Adventure. Those wishing to know more will have to go in search of it, finding clues scattered throughout the world of SoT.
Already available, this Adventure can be discovered until July 14. As always, unique rewards can be unlocked by players. Regarding the future of Sea of Thieves, Rare recently teased some of the new features of Season 7, bringing, among other things, the possibility of renaming your ship.
