22 and 24 TB before mid-2023
During a conference call, Dave Mosley, director of operations at Seagate, clarified the group’s intentions in terms of new products. Unsurprisingly, the capacity of hard drives will grow a little more this year.
Initially, it will therefore be a question of introducing two new capacities based on current technologies. While the 20 TB was released a year ago, the 22 and 24 TB are planned, but no specific date has been announced.
