Sean Combs is accused of allegedly raping a student in 2003. A motion to dismiss the lawsuit has now been filed.

Several serious allegations have been made against rapper and hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs (54) in recent months. His legal team has now filed an application to have a judge dismiss a lawsuit filed in December 2023, as US media consistently report.

The case involves a lawsuit filed by a woman who claims she was the victim of gang rape in 2003. Combs is accused of committing the alleged assault along with two other men against the then 17-year-old high school student. The alleged incident is said to have occurred in a studio in New York, CNN, among others, reported last year, citing court documents submitted.

New documents requesting the dismissal of the lawsuit are due May 10th according to People been. According to Combs’ lawyers, this is “a completely false and despicable claim.” The allegations are “categorically denied” by the rapper and have already caused “incalculable damage” to the reputation and business standing of Combs and several of his companies, which are also said to have been named as defendants – even before evidence has been presented.

Combs accused in several cases

Before the lawsuit was originally filed, other women had made allegations against Combs alleging sexual assault, according to US reports. In November, the rapper and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura (37) agreed to an out-of-court settlement – one day after the singer filed a civil lawsuit alleging abuse and rape. This was followed in February 2024 by a lawsuit from music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, and in March raids on Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami. Apparently several documentary teams are currently working on the rapper’s case.

Combs had posted on Instagram in December based. “Enough is enough,” he wrote in a statement. He watched quietly as people tried to destroy his reputation and legacy. “Disgusting allegations” have been made against him by people who, according to him, are out to make a quick buck. Combs “did none of the terrible things I’m accused of.”
