Hollywood star Sean Penn and Leila George got married in July 2020. There are now reports of the couple divorcing.
Sean Penn’s (61) wife, Australian actress Leila George (29), reportedly wants a divorce after just over a year of marriage. This is what the “People” magazine reports and the portal “TMZ” conforming. Accordingly, George is said to have submitted appropriate papers to a court in Los Angeles on Friday.
The two married in July 2020. Penn had this a short time later on the “Late Night” talk show confirmed with Seth Meyers (47). The couple had a “Covid wedding,” he said. A registrar was switched on virtually via zoom. Penn’s children and George’s brother were present at the wedding in their own house.
They have been together since 2016
It was Sean Penn’s third marriage: the Hollywood star was previously married to singer Madonna (1985-1989) and actress Robin Wright (1996-2010). With Wright he has the children Dylan (30) and Hopper (28). With Leila George, daughter of the “Criminal Intent” star Vincent D’Onofrio (62), Sean Penn was in a relationship since 2016.
