Search successful – apartment demolished and colleagues injured

Wild scenes took place on Thursday afternoon in an apartment in Innsbruck. An Iraqi (30) first hit a door with a hammer. When the tenant (36) opened it, the man stormed the apartment, damaged the television and also injured his colleague. He was arrested.

The 30-year-old Iraqi began his real assault around 4 p.m. when he banged a hammer several times against the apartment door of an Iraqi man (36). When he finally opened the door, he stormed into the apartment and hammered on the television. But that wasn’t enough: “The 30-year-old then attacked the 36-year-old and injured him indefinitely on his left forearm,” it is said on the part of the investigators. The 36-year-old was seriously injured and taken to the clinic. Search for suspect successful The suspect’s place of residence was quickly determined through the police investigation. When he did not open his apartment door, the public prosecutor ordered the man’s arrest and a house search. Finally, the 30-year-old opened the door on his own and was arrested by officers from the Rapid Intervention Group (SIG). “The 30-year-old refused to make a statement when questioned,” said the investigators. The man was taken to the Innsbruck prison.
