Season 5 of Stranger Things has just been teased by its creators. And that’s not all, since other big surprises are to be announced.
Season 4 of Stranger Things ended with an event that left hundreds of thousands of viewers in suspense. They are only waiting for one thing: the sequel. Unfortunately, this is not yet ready to happen, although the process should speed up. Anyway, that doesn’t stop the creators of the series from giving news about season 5. And in fact, it was teased on social networks as part of “Stranger Things Day”, with other surprises as a bonus.
Season 5 of Stranger Things is revealed
As you might expect, we’re not talking about a trailer or teaser showing characters in action. Nevertheless, we were able to get a glimpse of the very first scene of season 5 of Stranger Things. Don’t get excited, this is just a screenshot of the script for the episode that will kick off the series finale. It’s a rather nice way of teasing us, and the few lines we see already immerse us in the atmosphere of the show.
It’s hard to understand who we’re dealing with. An icy wind, cracking trees… A “child’s voice” is mentioned, and it would sing music that will be visibly easy to recognize. Is this a Stranger Things cast member? For the moment, it’s impossible to know, but it makes your mouth water. Remember that the release of season 5 was delayed due to the screenwriters’ strike in Hollywood. This has ended, but certain actors are still mobilized. We do not know if filming has started, and we should not hope to view it before 2025. In addition to this announcement, this very special day was an opportunity for Stranger Things to unveil a whole bunch of collaborations. Most of them will undoubtedly delight fans, because there is plenty to do.
Collaborations that you no longer know what to do with them
As we know, the series has entered into partnerships in the video game sphere. Nothing new, but it serves as a reminder for the most curious. Steve and Nancy are therefore still playable in Dead by Daylightand surprise, Eleven, Hopper and the Demogorgon are available for purchase in Fortnite. If you want to play as your favorite Stranger Things characters in these games, now is the time to get started. On the other hand, if you prefer to take on the mantle of the big bad, that is also doable. Indeed, on November 30, it will be possible to play Vecna in virtual reality in Stranger Things VR on Meta Quest. A completely new game this time, which will be released on November 30.
Other collaborations have also been announced, such as the one with the Fooji site to win, among other things, a ticket to London to attend the play Stranger Things: The First Shadow. Otherwise, you can opt for the Scoops Ahoy ice creams which have just been unveiled by Netflix. In short, there is something for everyone, even if we do not yet have a release date for season 5. Given the teasing from the showrunners, it might not be long.
