Moderator will not present a new edition of “TV total”

Cabaret artist Sebastian Pufpaff has denied rumors that he is the presenter of a new edition of “TV Total”.
At the end of June, the “Spiegel” reported that Stefan Raab (54) is supposed to be planning a new edition of his hit show “TV total”. Cabaret artist Sebastian Pufpaff (44) should be in conversation to present the new show. Pufpaff has now got rid of the rumor: “There is no ‘TV total’ with Sebastian Pufpaff,” he said of the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung”.
Pufpaff himself heard about it from a friend via WhatsApp messenger service. He also doesn’t know where the “Spiegel” got it from. “The ‘heute show’ is in the same building as Brainpool, and all the people who do humor television go in and out,” explains Pufpaff. At some point he stood next to Stefan Raab – “and then someone probably said: ‘Aha, now there is TV totally with Sebastian Pufpaff.'” In addition to appearances on the “heute-show”, Pufpaff recently presented the satire show “Not yet shift.” “on 3Sat. The lockdown format ended after 118 episodes.
Planning should run since 2020
“Spiegel” is said to have found out about the new edition of “TV total” from industry circles. Accordingly, Raab and his company Raab TV have been planning the production of the successful show under strict secrecy since last year. However, it is not yet clear whether “TV total” will be broadcast again on ProSieben. A spokesman for the broadcaster said to “mirror”that the return “unfortunately cannot be confirmed”, even if the idea “sounds so tempting”. The report also states that the new edition could be seen again as early as autumn, possibly only once a week.
“TV total” ran from 1999 to 2015 on ProSieben. Initially there was only one program a week, from 2001 four a week.
