Séché Environnement: Finalization of the acquisition of activities in Veolia’s industrial water treatment services

(Boursier.com) — Following the unilateral promise to purchase, entered into in May 2022, under which Dried Environment undertook to acquire activities of Veolia in industrial water treatment services in France, Séché Environnement announces that the acquisition is now effective.

The activities acquired include a portfolio of contracts entered into mainly with manufacturers. The contracts include all of the businesses in the industrial water cycle (in particular effluent treatment, supply of process water, facility management – including waste management – and maintenance operations), allowing to offer manufacturers value-added services in the area of ​​delegated management of the water cycle.

On the date of finalization of the acquisition, the amount paid by Séché Environnement was approximately EUR30m. It will be financed by drawing on a line of credit. The balance will be paid following the transfer of the contracts in the first half of 2023.
