Second Extinction: sad news for the game with dinosaurs

But the cooperative multiplayer shooter against mutant dinosaurs encountered development difficulties and did not really find its audience, despite being quickly offered on theEpic Games Store.

Today, the developers announce the end of Second Extinction. In a statement, Systemic Reaction looks back on his difficulties in developing such an ambitious game with a small team, several problems prevented him from releasing his title in version 1.0 last year. And that will never be the case. Active development of Second Extinction has been permanently stopped, the game will be withdrawn from sale but the servers will remain online “for the moment” so you can play solo or cooperatively with friends. However, the servers will be cut in 2024, without details on the date. The studio still emerges from it grown, and above all, it affirms that this failure will not be accompanied by any layoffs.
