Systemic Reaction has been developing for several years Second Extinction, a co-op oriented first-person shooterwhere a team of over-armed human soldiers face off against hordes of mutant dinosaurs who have regained control of our beautiful planet Earth.
The title is already playable in Early Access on PC and in early access on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via the program Xbox Game Previewbut players are obviously waiting for the launch of version 1.0 to find lots of new stuff. Well, now we see the end of the tunnel, the release date of Second Extinction is set for October 20, 2022 in the final version on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The developers will then release a big update adding a new map and a new biome (doubling the size of the game area) as well as two new dinosaursan improved progression system with a level cap going from 50 to 99, a tweaked weapon upgrade system, the ability to roam free and launch missions directly from the map, and a bunch of other little improvements.
