Announced last August, the port to next-gen consoles is what gamers are most eagerly awaiting. Scheduled for the beginning of 2022, it seems like the right time for CD Projekt Red to reveal this date. However, the live should also contain a lot of other information. The next-gen versions should come with an update, which could be detailed tomorrow. We could then hope, after nearly 6 months of waiting, to see a new major update land.
But it would also be the perfect opportunity to unveil the first content DLC(s), with new storylines. If we have known for a long time that many DLCs were to be released, for the moment only one has arrived. This would be an opportunity to offer a more immersive and clean experience for next-gen consoles, while developing content for other players.
