RPG like a fairy tale for children, The Cruel King and the Great Hero arrives in our regions on March 15, 2022 after a first exclusive release in Japan in June 2021. Developed by Nippon Ichi Software and published by NIS America, the game is released on PS4 and Switch.
In this title, you will follow the story of little Yuu, daughter of a deceased hero, who goes in search of adventure with her faithful companion, a great dragon once known as the Cruel King. Calmed since he was spared by the father of his little protegee, his dark past could however resurface. Many encounters will punctuate little Yuu’s life and help her realize her heroine dreams. From the adorable fox Conco to Princess Flora, they will all lend a hand as you progress through the game’s chapters.
In this illustrated fable, whose graphic touch will be reminiscent The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, Yuu’s adventures will be punctuated with turn-based combat. In addition to hunting the various enemies, you will also have to help the inhabitants of the forest to allow the little girl to become a real heroine.
