SEGA and Yoko Taro on a new mobile project already on the run

Sega gives us an appointment this Friday at noon to reveal his new mobile game. Except that unfortunately, there was a little blunder during the upload of the first elements since a bad video was spotted by the Gematsu site before being unpublished.

Finally a gacha with Persona and NieR thanks to Sega?

We start with the official communication with the teaser that we were supposed to see today, namely a very cryptic video. In it, we see a smartphone falling while displaying the texts “Create a bright future” and “Destroy Sega” before the Sega logo begins to take over the whole world (including Paris) before we are promised that the world will change Friday.

Not much for the moment but we can count on the manipulation error to know more. The game will be called 404 GAME RE:SETto pronounce “Error Game Reset” and the creator of Deny, Yoko Taro (or Taro Yoko for the purists), is working on the project which is bound to be intriguing.

Regarding the gameplay, we will be told a RPG but we also promise ten free draws to people who pre-register, which therefore indicates thatit will be a gacha. Inevitably, since the teaser shows the Sega brand invading the world, we expect to see a title taking great advantage of the publisher’s licenses which could be a hit in gacha (especially if we include personas Or Like a Dragon For example).

The leak promises a release on iOS and Android in 2023 in Japan, so difficult to say for the moment if the game will arrive in the West one day since it remains very uncertain for mobile games. See you Friday at noon, French time, to attend the presentation of the game on Youtube.
