Segway presents the E2 Pro E, an electric scooter that focuses everything on autonomy


Segway has just announced the launch in France of a new electric scooter model: the Ninebot E2 Pro. To stand out, it can count on its comfort and safety equipment and its extended autonomy.

After the Ninebot E2 Plus E, an electric scooter reserved primarily for tight budgets, Segway has just announced the launch of a new model on the French market. Baptized Ninebot E2 Pro E, this two-wheeler wants to try to stand out through its proposition, which combines according to the manufacturer “power, autonomy, safety and comfort”.

According to the brand, the E2 Pro E brings together the latest technologies developed by the manufacturer for urban mobility. Thus, the electric scooter will be distinguished above all by its generous autonomy of 35km (in Standard driving mode) and 27 km in Sport Mode (i.e. 25 km/h as provided for by current European legislation).

Segway unveils the E2 Pro E, a scooter focused on autonomy and safety

In Energy Saving mode, i.e. at a speed of 15 km/h, iIt is even possible to travel up to 40 km according to manufacturer estimates. According to Segway, proprietary RideyLong technology increases autonomy by 20%, while maintaining the same 275W battery already present on other models. The E2 Pro E also promises good power, especially when going uphill thanks to its rear-wheel drive engine. 750W. According to the brand, users will be able to easily overcome slopes up to 18% incline.

Let’s then look at safety and comfort equipment. To ensure better stability, particularly on wet, slippery or dangerous roads, the E2 Pro E features TCS, a traction control system. To summarize, it is a traction control which prevents skidding on tricky tracks. We will then note the presence of integrated turn signalsfor better visibility, and the use of 10 inch wide tubeless tires protected against air leaks.

As Segway announced in June 2023, the E2 Pro E will also benefit from the integration of Apple Find My. In other words, iPhone, iPad or Mac owners will be able to easily find their scooter in the event of theft or loss via the Locate app. Let us point out that the machine also benefits from a companion app, from which you can track your journeys, check battery life or even personalize driving preferences. The E2 Pro E is available from this Friday October 27, 2023 in France at the price of €449.
