A 31-year-old man died Sunday morning after being stabbed in the thigh in a bar in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis), AFP learned on Monday May 9 from a police source and from the Bobigny prosecutor’s office.
According to the account of the police source, the victim was taken care of by the police in the street, Sunday around 6:00 am, seriously injured in the thigh. The 31-year-old man was stabbed with a knife that severed his femoral artery, one of the largest blood vessels. He died of his injury in hospital.
At the scene, traces of blood led investigators to a bar, where the assault allegedly took place. “Circumstances and motives remain very unclear at this stage“Said the Bobigny prosecution. The investigation opened for murder was entrusted to the judicial police service of the department.
