Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift celebrate their friendship on Instagram with a rare and very private selfie.
It is well known that the singers Selena Gomez (31) and Taylor Swift (33) have had a close friendship for years. Now Gomez has posted two rare and private selfies on Instagram that show her vacationing with Swift.
Dressed in beach outfits and with completely natural looks, they present themselves on a restaurant terrace with a picturesque sea backdrop in the background. In one picture, the two friends beam into the camera.
In the second photo, Swift plants a kiss on her friend’s cheek. “Thas my best friend – she a real bad” (in German “That’s my best friend, she’s really bad”), writes Gomez on the post – based on the lyrics in “Best Friend” by Saweetie (30). and Doja Cat (27).
Performance at the MTV Video Music Awards
The photos were taken just days after they appeared together at the MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey. Both women impressed people there with their extravagant designer gowns. Selena Gomez wore a red halterneck dress in a floral design by Oscar de la Renta.
Swift wore an asymmetrical halterneck dress with a high leg slit and gold buttons by Versace. The “Midnights” singer was honored that evening in the “Best Pop” category.
