New voice on “Die Sendung mit der Maus”: Annette Frier will speak the opening credits of the popular children’s series from October 10th.
Günter Dybus has been working as a spokesperson for “Die Sendung mit der Maus” for almost 50 years. But now he passes the microphone on: The actress Annette Frier (47) can be heard in the opening credits of the children’s series. The WDR announced on Friday (October 8th). On October 10th, together with Dybus, she takes over the announcement: “Laughing and factual stories, today with …”
Annette Frier is out of the house
Annette Frier is looking forward to the task: “I’m a mouse in the house! The anticipation for my new job is as big as an elephant …”, she explains in an interview with the broadcaster. However, she has been working for “Die Sendung mit der Maus” for a long time. Her voice can be heard regularly in the “two-minute fairy tale”, which has been part of the format since 2019.
Both Günter Dybus and Frier have an appearance in the laughing and non-fiction stories on October 10th. While Dybus takes on a role in the “past / present story”, the actress tells the new edition of the “two-minute fairy tale”. At the end of the day, viewers can “look forward to an official handover”, promises the broadcaster.
“Die Sendung mit der Maus” will run on October 10 at 9:30 am in the Erste and ARD media library. The episode will also run at 11:30 a.m. on KIKA and in the KIKA player.
