The next Wireless Headset from Sennheiser shows itself in great detail just days before its presentation.

If Sennheiser wanted to keep the surprise effect, unfortunately it failed.

A revised design in large widths

While the presentation of the next Sennheiser Momentum 4 is not expected before August 8, a Canadian online retailer made an online mistake and published the product sheet for the German brand’s future headphones. The page is now deleted, but she had time to provide some information.

First, the design, revealed here by numerous visuals. For this successor to the Sennheiser Momentum 3, released almost three years ago, the manufacturer has revised its copy with a look that is both much more sober and original.

For example, the metal structure has been replaced by a new thinner arch covered with a layer of fabric. The rigid storage case, which also appears in the visuals, also confirms the fact that the headphones will not be collapsible for transport like other recent models like the Sony WH-1000Xm5.

A monster autonomy announced by the brand

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 will always carry with it an active noise reduction technology that we hope will be more effective than that of the Sennheiser Momentum 3, which had disappointed us a little on this point at the time.

The packaging also tells us that the headphones will be compatible with Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec, which as its name suggests adapts the bit rate according to the type of content, but also according to the user’s environment. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 will also benefit from 24-bit/96 kHz audio at 420 kbps, compared to 16-bit at 384 kbps for the older model.

The autonomy would be 60 hours, against 17 hours for the previous model. This information had already been revealed by Sennheiser a few weeks ago.

The manufacturer would finally agree to lower its prices a little for this new generation. The leaked Canadian retailer quoted a price of 450 Canadian dollars (about 343 euros) instead of the 530 Canadian dollars (405 euros) requested at the time for the Momentum 3.
