Professional footballer Serge Gnabry will not be able to play against Paris. The 25-year-old has tested positive for the corona virus.

Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry (25) has again tested positive for the corona virus. The club announced this on April 6th. The professional soccer player “is doing fine”, it says in a short message. The 25-year-old is in domestic isolation.

The striker had already tested positive in October last year. However, it was then determined that the result was incorrect. Gnabry was then tested negative several times and returned to training. Because of the current result, Gnabry will not be able to play against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League on Wednesday.

How long FC Bayern Munich will have to do without the striker is currently unclear. Previously, Gnabry’s colleague Thomas Müller (31) had tested positive for the virus in February.
