Serious traffic accident in the evening hours: On Wednesday, a car driver collided with a small truck in Bad Hofgastein. Both were injured to an unspecified degree.
The 20-year-old local was driving her car on the Gasteiner Bundesstraße in the Bad Hofgastein municipality in the direction of Badgastein. She wanted to turn left into Gadaunererstrasse, but she didn’t see the oncoming small truck. The two vehicles collided head-on. The 20-year-old and the 56-year-old truck driver were injured to an unspecified degree. They were brought to the Schwarzach Clinic by the rescue service. The Bad Hofgastein volunteer fire brigade was deployed with a total of four vehicles and 21 men. The Gastein federal road was difficult to pass for an hour.
