Serious allegations – Energie Ried is now suing the two ex-managing directors

For years, the ex-managing directors of Energie Ried are said to have cheated the supervisory authority out of many millions of euros. Since, strictly speaking, “only” too much was paid out, the company has to repay the amount that has yet to be determined. There will still be high claims for damages against the ex-bosses.

For many months, the former mayor of Ried, Albert Ortig, in his function as a one-man general assembly and thus the highest owner representative of Energie Ried, refused to give the current management power of attorney to take legal action against the ex-bosses who are seriously suspected of fraud The committee has now expanded. Neo-city boss Bernhard Zwielehner brought the “vice” Claudia Schoßleitner (also VP), Thomas Dim (FP) and Peter Stummer (SP) into the team. And that did not hesitate long with the granting of the power of attorney. “We will probably file a claim for damages against the former managing directors at the regional court in Ried this year,” explains corporate lawyer Peter Vogl. Damage several hundred thousand euros. He could not name the exact amount. It should be several hundred thousand euros. Not only the costs for the processing of the malversations with the E-Control are sued. The ex-bosses are accused of serious management errors and the unjustified payment of bonuses. The duo is also said to have tricked the purchase of company cars for private use. The presumption of innocence applies. In addition to the general assembly, the Supervisory Board is also being reorganized at Energie Ried. Klar Danninger is stepping down after 27 years. Lukas Oberwagner, Green City Councilor, will be elected as his successor next week.
