Curious scenes played out in a company in Reutte on Saturday evening! An employee of a security company observed a thief leaving a company building with a sack. At the same time, two other suspects stole valuable tools. A search was initially unsuccessful.
Twice within a few minutes, strangers broke into a company in Reutte and stole high-quality tools. First, around 9 p.m., an employee of a security company saw a man leaving the company building with a sack. The security staff followed the man and stopped him at a bus stop. The stranger fled and left the sack with the stolen goods. An immediately initiated search was unsuccessful. The stolen goods included high-quality tool accessories, an electrically operated pump and numerous installation and other materials worth several thousand euros. This probably served as a distraction for a second theft that took place at the same time on the company premises. Two other initially unknown men were standing in a car in the opposite parking lot of the company. They also fled and abandoned their car. This search was also initially negative. Investigations led to suspects “After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, the abandoned car was secured,” says the police. In the course of the investigation, two Hungarians aged 42 and 50 were finally identified as suspects. The two men were employed by the company as temporary workers and were provisionally arrested. In the course of the first questioning, the two confessed. They are reported at large.
