(CercleFinance.com) – SES-imagotag said on Friday evening that it did not wish to comment further on the latest accusations from Gotham City, believing that it had already provided enough elements of an answer to the market.
In a report published Friday, Gotham judged that the defense of SES Imagotag was based on allegations that the activist fund considers to have never made, a strategy equated with an attempt to ‘discredit’.
“The company has, in fact, acknowledged most of our key arguments or otherwise not denied them,” the short seller argues in its memo.
In a press release published Friday evening, SES-imagotag indicates that it does not intend to comment further on the observations made by Gotham, recalling that it has provided “factual, precise and verifiable” answers in recent weeks.
Last week, the electronic label specialist published record sales and order intake figures for the first half of 2023.
The group has also expressed the ambition to maintain a strong growth momentum for the semesters and years to come, by focusing in particular on its international expansion.
Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, the action, SES-imagotag lost 4% on Monday morning following these developments. The title has now regained almost 55% of the ground lost since the first attacks on Gotham, which date from June 22.
