Several accidents – child seriously injured in a skiing accident in Obertauern

A ten-year-old girl from the Netherlands was seriously injured on New Year’s Day while skiing in Obertauern. At around 11.50 a.m., the girl fell without any external influence and suffered a broken thigh, the police said on Saturday evening.

According to the police, after the first aid from the Red Cross on site or subsequently at the medical center in Obertauern, the child was flown to the hospital in Schladming with the emergency helicopter C-14. Year-old and a 44-year-old on the Duxeralmbahn, municipality of Krimml, for a currently unknown cause. Both winter sports enthusiasts were injured to an indefinite degree and had to be flown to the hospital by rescue helicopter.
