The shooting of “And Just Like That …” is in full swing and more and more pictures from the set are giving first insights. Including the first outfits of the New York style icons, of which we don’t want to withhold three trends from you.
Actress Sarah Jessica Parker in her role as Carrie Bradshaw, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York and Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes are back in front of the camera for the reboot of the hit series “Sex and the City”. 23 years have passed since the first episode – but one thing is certain: Even now, the three friends still have the fashion scene firmly under control. Shortly after the first kills of “And Just Like That” we get to see the concentrated fashion power of the trio. Which three trends are moving straight into our wardrobes, fresh from New York? Slip dress with shirt or shirt
Admittedly, the combination is not entirely new. But Charlotte and Carrie prove how stylish it can look when you wear a shirt or even an oversize shirt under the slip dress: Carrie combines a light blue shirt under a floor-length paisley pattern dress and gives her feminine dress such a casual look Touch. If you want something a little more subtle, like Charlotte, you can choose a basic shirt in white. Because pulled underneath, the summery slip dress with a sailboat pattern is transformed into an everyday look for the office or a visit to a restaurant in no time at all. A delicate waist belt and a necklace give the outfit an elegant touch.

It-bag of the season: Jelly Cage Bag
Jelly Cage Bags are celebrating their big comeback this season – and thanks to the reboot. You could even say that the bag with its eye-catching design, airy cut-outs and easy-care material is being launched as this year’s It-Bag. Thanks to its feather weight, it can be used particularly well as a shopping or beach bag. From market purchases to sun protection and bath towels: the bag is a real space saver. So it’s no wonder that Charlotte also took a liking to the version of Fendi. In the color white, it can be perfectly combined with any summer outfit and is therefore at the top of our shopping list.

Not without my waist belt
When we look at the first film looks of the three friends, one thing in common immediately catches our eye: the fashionistas all focus on an accentuated core. The waist belt is an essential part of your outfits and creates a wonderful silhouette. The width of the accessory is less important. The color is much more important: Miranda, Charlotte and Carrie prefer to use bright colors such as red or yellow. And otherwise there is no sparing of accessories when it comes to the outfits. Why also? The innumerable possibilities to play with bags, necklaces and the like are far too nice.

It is not yet known when “And Just Like That …” will air. Production is already running in New York. So it is quite possible that the revival will not appear on HBO Max until mid-2022. Our shopping lists will be full by then. To conclude with the words of Carrie Bradshaw: We too like our money best where we can see it: hanging in our wardrobes.
