Actress Kim Cattrall has been married for a long time, but her partner is rarely seen. Now the couple made an exception.
For this special appearance, Cattrall, who became known in the late 1990s through the cult series “Sex and the City,” appeared in a short, black and gold sequin dress. She combined black pumps and a dark clutch with the high-necked, long-sleeved outfit with eye-catching shoulder pads. The design of her earrings matched the gold buttons on her dress, and she wore her blonde mane loose. Russell Thomas opted for a classic black suit, white shirt and black bow tie alongside Cattrall.
Joint project brought Kim Cattrall and her partner together
The couple met, according to the British newspaper Daily Mal In 2016, the actress recorded a segment about insomnia for BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. The two reportedly stayed in touch, and Russell Thomas flew to Canada to visit Cattrall in her homeland, according to the report.
The 67-year-old told the “Times” in June that she had taken things slowly with her new partner. “Our lives were so separate and so different,” she said, and at the same time gushed about their relationship: “It’s a beautiful life and I’m very grateful for that.”
Cameo on “And Just Like That…”
Kim Cattrall played the character Samantha Jones in the series “Sex and the City”, which ran for six seasons between 1998 and 2004 and was continued in two feature films. In the sequel “And Just Like That…”, which premiered in 2021, she was last seen in a short guest appearance at the end of the second season. Cattrall ruled out filming together with her former colleagues Sarah Jessica Parker (58), Cynthia Nixon (57) and Kristin Davis (58) in advance. The relationship between the 67-year-old and the three actresses is said to have broken down.
