Sex Education 4 on Netflix: this big bad guy from Game of Thrones makes a surprise appearance, Internet users are on fire!

Jack Gleeson has returned to comedy with a surprise role in the latest season of “Sex Education”!

Spoiler alert! This article reveals a key element of the plot of season 4 of Sex Education. If you don’t want to know what it’s all about, don’t read any further.

We told you about him a few weeks ago when we announced his return to television with a brand new look and a new role. But he apparently has more than one trick up his sleeve!

Jack Gleeson, unforgettable Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones, decided to surprise the public with a return earlier than expected, and above all, which had not been announced by anyone!

What was our surprise and that of fans of the series when we discovered the actor in a very small role in season 4 of Sex Education. We see him briefly in two episodes in the role of Dodgy Mo in English, or Mo le chelou in the French version. He is a friend of Sean (Edward Bluemel), the brother of Maeve (Emma Mackey), who takes the latter in when Sean and Maeve have just lost their mother.

Mo is a young man who apparently lives alone and, like Sean, is a drug addict. During his second appearance, he explains to Maeve – who is looking for her brother to scatter their mother’s ashes – that Sean left with all his things to wean himself. An impossible mission to accomplish while living at Mo’s house. After which, Mo asks Maeve to play the console with him after using his bong…

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Jack Gleeson on our screens, after he found success in Game of Thrones, where he played the villainous Joffrey Baratheon, one of the series’ greatest villains but also from the history of television.

The Irish actor starred in the series from 2011 to 2014 (only!) and earned two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, as well as other nominations for his iconic role as the cruel teenager, heir to King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

But after his departure from the HBO blockbuster in 2014, Jack Gleeson decided to end his career. At the time, he told students at a conference at University College Dublin: “It’s really because I didn’t enjoy acting as much as before.

I started playing when I was eight and I really, really loved it, you know… For some reason it became a bit mechanical and less passionate when I got older. started Game of Thrones“, reports Radio Times.

In 2020, Jack Gleeson returned to screens in Sara Pascoe’s British sitcom Out of Her Mind, where he played the role of Casper. But this role in Sex Education is the first that gives her true global exposure. And subscribers did not fail to react on the networks:

Joffrey, what are you doing here? HaHa ? Jack Gleeson is back. #SexEducation #SexEducation4

Seeing Jack Gleeson in Sex Education was NOT something I expected.

Watch Sex Education on Netflix and a crazy Jack Gleeson appears ? I didn’t even realize he had come back to acting.
