It’s a page that is turning in the era of teen series on Netflix. Sex Education is almost over! Budding sexologist Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) will provide his final advice to his friends in the fourth and final season of the series, which will be available on September 21 on the platform.
The end of Laurie Nunn’s creation is not surprising given the multiple departures of several members of the cast and the flight of revealed stars, such as Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa, who we found together in Barbie, and soon solo in Doctor Who for the British actor.
A final season that promises fun and tears

These new episodes promise to be as irreverent as they are moving since the characters in the series will continue to explore their sexuality while pursuing their quest for self.
Otis and his friends find themselves at a new high school, Cavendish College, an establishment run by its own students which is very different and much more welcoming than Moordale High School.
Avant-garde and ultra progressive, this new high school will completely disconcert Otis and his friends, who were already very open-minded. Another problem: a sexologist is already in place in this new school setting and Otis is having difficulty finding clients for his own sessions.

The poor young man also has to deal with the baby blues of his mother Jane Milburn (Gillian Anderson), who forgets her discomfort with a new job as a podcaster, but also her long-distance relationship with Maeve (Emma Mackey), who left to follow a prestigious literary program at Wallace University in the United States.
The other protagonists of the series, like Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Maeve, Aimee (Aimee-Lou Wood), Adam (Connor Swindells), Ruby (Mimi Keene), Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling), Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu) and Isaac (George Robinson), are also entitled to a last lap to make their voice heard, discover themselves even more and know which path suits them best through meetings, tests and necessary confrontations.
Because Sex Education is as popular for its pop and polished aesthetic as for its liberated, caring and educational tone which offers everyone the opportunity to express themselves, to identify themselves, to free themselves and to live their life as they wish. . We really need a good dose of Sex Education for the start of the school year and there are only a few days of patience left before binging the final episodes of the Netflix series.
