Like every year the American magazine People voted sexiest man alive. In 2022, actor Chris Evans won the title. The interpreter of Captain America thus succeeds another Avengers: Paul Rudd, Ant-Man in the MCU.
Marvel actors are obviously popular since Chris Hemsworth (Thor) was voted the sexiest man of 2014 and Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger in Black Panther), had won the title in 2020.
Asked by the magazine, Chris Evans showed a great second degree: “It’s hard to talk about that. I feel like I’m showing a form of humble bragging“. Before adding: “I know my friends will laugh (…) But my mother will be very happy.“
After entrusting Captain America’s shield to Anthony Mackie, Chris Evans appeared in the cast of Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up: Cosmic Denial, The Gray Man by The Russo Brothers and lent his voice to Space Ranger Buzz. lightning in the original version of the spin-off of the Toy Story saga.
The 41-year-old actor will soon be cast in the Apple+ film Ghosted by Dexter Fletcher alongside Ana de Armas, the Prime Video film Red One with Dwayne Johnson (voted Sexiest Man Alive of 2016) and Pain Hustlers by David Yates which will be available on Netflix.
