Suspected of being involved in a political scandal, Samy Kéfi-Jérôme, deputy mayor LR Gaël Perdriau, announces that he has taken leave of his duties.
Samy Kéfi-Jérôme, one of the deputies of the LR mayor of Saint-Etienne implicated in the case of political blackmail at the sextape which has shaken the city since the end of August, announced to AFP on Friday that he had resigned from his mandates at the city and metropolis of Saint-Etienne.
“This morning I submitted my resignation from my mandates as municipal councilor and metropolitan councilor“to the prefect of the Loire”and I informed the mayor“, writes the municipal assistant for education in a press release sent to AFP.
Gaël Perdriau, the LR mayor of Saint-Etienne, announced on Thursday that he would withdraw from his duties as president of the Metropolis.
