SFL successfully launches a €99 million equivalent bond issue

(Boursier.com) — SFL today successfully launched an equivalent bond issue with a nominal amount of €99 million maturing on June 5, 2027 and carrying an annual coupon of 1.50%. The New Bonds will be assimilated to the bonds issued by SFL on June 5, 2020 for a nominal amount of 500 million euros.

In accordance with the resolutions approved by the holders of the Existing Bonds at the general meeting of February 3, 2022, an amount equivalent to the principal amount of the New Bonds will be allocated by SFL to the financing or refinancing of a portfolio of green assets meeting the environmental criteria further described in the Green Finance Framework (as amended and supplemented, as applicable) available on the SFL website.

Settlement-delivery of the New Bonds is scheduled for June 7, 2022. The New Bonds will be admitted to trading on the regulated market of Euronext Paris. By virtue of the exemption from the obligation to publish a prospectus provided for in Article 1 paragraph 5. a) of Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 of the European Parliament and of the Council, no prospectus has been prepared by SFL or approved by the Autorité des marchés financiers or any other competent authority for the purposes of the issue of the New Bonds. SFL is rated BBB+, stable outlook, by Standard & Poor’s.
