SFR acquires virtual operator Syma

SFR continues its raid among virtual mobile operators (MVNO). The company, headed by Grégory Rabuel since last year, has just completed the acquisition of Syma, according to Le Figaro. This operation comes on top of the takeovers of Prixtel, Afone and Coriolis completed in 2021, which enabled the operator in the red square to add 1.5 million customers to its network. In addition to SFR, this consolidation is also accelerated by Bouygues Telecom, which notably acquired Euro-Information Telecom (EIT), behind the commercial brands NRJ Mobile, Auchan Mobile, Cdiscount Mobile, Crédit Mutuel Mobile and CIC Mobile.
