Have you subscribed to SFR or RED by SFR, and have you noticed a discreet increase in the price of your plan in 2023?

Don’t panic, it’s “normal”. Finally, according to SFR.

A discreet increase at SFR

Like other operators, SFR regularly tries to inflate the price of its mobile subscribers by sometimes (often) using vile stratagems to deceive the vigilance of its subscribers. For example, in the absence of having taken care to refuse the offer proposed by the operator (often through an e-mail that appears to be unspecified), many are those who have seen their plan “evolve” automatically , just like the invoice.

While Free Mobile has promised not to touch its rates for the next few years, SFR has already increased its customers’ telephone bills. In January, subscribers were thus able to see a slightly higher bill, the increase of which is from 0.69 to 0.99 euros. This increase was deliberately concealed according to many customers, but SFR is defending itself.

RED customers also affected

Indeed, the operator explains that on the last invoice sent to its customers, we can read: ” In a context marked by the general increase in the costs making up the price of your service, the monthly amount of your subscription increases by 0.98 euros from this invoice. »

SFR was careful not to warn its customers by e-mail or SMS, and simply concealed this announcement at the bottom of an invoice, rarely scrutinized thoroughly by customers. Faced with the dissatisfaction of subscribers, SFR replies: “ Whether the information is given by email, SMS or via the invoice, we are systematically criticized when we announce a price increase. »

It is important to specify that RED by SFR subscribers are not excluded from this price increase in this year 2023.

Thus, it is not impossible that the package to which you had subscribed a few years ago, and whose price was fixed ” for life ” at 10 euros per month, rose to 13 euros per month some time ago before taking another 0.99 euro since this month of January.

Are you subscribed to SFR or RED by SFR? Did you notice this price increase on your last bill?
